Developed by Innersloth, Among Us is a game of alliance and deception.
Due to the very long pandemic, the world may have started out quarantine by playing PUBG, COD and other shooting games thrilled with excitement. But after a few months of pandemic life, Among Us found a massive surge in popularity that began in early days of September.
Gameplay:- There are three maps in this game The Skeld, MIRA HQ and Polus.
1) The Skeld – The Skeld is the primary and the first map created in Among Us, set on a spaceship in outer space.
2) MIRA HQ – MIRA HQ is the second map, set high in the earth’s atmosphere.
3) Polus – Polus also known as The Polus outpost or Planet Polus is the third map in Among Us.
The gameplay is very simple, where a player is either a crewmate or an impostor. In which the impostor must pretend to run tasks in the game while slowly and steadily killing off each crewmate one by one.
If a body is discovered, crewmate calls an emergency meeting or reports the body and can have a group chat or discussion to figure out who the impostor truly is.
The crewmates and the impostor move from room to room to accomplish their respective goals.
If a player is continuously getting a crewmate role he/she are likely to get bored.
For crewmates, most of the time tasks are repeated which can spoil the fun and excitement of a player.
A player can customize it’s character to look more funny or attractive.
A player can also change it’s username several times and can associate funny names to it’s character.
You can customize who you want to play with. If you want to play with your friends online, you can set the room to private and share the room code with your friends.
If you want to play with others from all around the world you can set the room code to public.
Graphics:- The graphics of Among Us aren’t diligent or refined as some other high-end games and there’s also no need of an high-end phone to prevent lags.
The graphics aren’t realistic but it still can catch your attention due to its funny look.
The characters in the game are also funny and you can customize them to look more funny.
Sound/Music – There’s no voice acting and small quantity of sound effects which helps to facilitate the suspicious and seriousness atmosphere that Among Us thrives on.
Conclusion – As much as we enjoyed playing Among Us, we truly had fun watching it. Its simplicity makes it easy to boot up for streamers and the conversation about who is the suspect are great entertainment for active livestream chats.
Just love the charm of Among Us despite its simplicity.
Among Us is a game made for those who have a lot of online friends or followers. Even if you don’t fit that description still you can have fun but you might get irritated while playing with random players who obviously have no idea about what they’re doing.
Among Us overall is a style of intense, refreshing multiplayer experience that simply wasn’t on the spotlight before recently and turned out the enormous hit for the genre, and it’s a great first impression.
